Sound Blaster not recognized
I had the same problem, tried many different cards/slots). Cleared the cmos, left everything 'as is' by default, (i usually disable paralell port and a few other things i don't use), went into windows (w2kpro), enabled everything (i don't use the udma 66), stuck the card back in, booted up and it found the card. went back into cmos, disabled my 'regular' things, rebooted, went into w2k, disabled the udma 66, rebooted. no problems.
