The Tuttle, Oklahoma, city manager Jerry Taylor spent a great deal of time trying to convince CentOS that the Apache test page on their homepage was an intrusion and takeover of their website.
Johnny Hughes, a CentOS developer, tried continuously for a day to convince the city manager to seek professional assistance from a web server administrator. Taylor went as far as threatening FBI and legal action against CentOS.
Even after Hughes helped Taylor locate the information in question (IP Address and the web site provider name) Taylor continued to accuse Hughes for not giving over that information quickly enough. The city manager claims to have 22 years experience.
