two (more?) capacitors next to the ps2/kb socket side cpu are bent...... needs re-cap, MAYBE!!!
if it works, don't poke the bear I say!
just for those of us who know and want to know....
on the back end of the ISA socket, what REV no ?
between the cpu sockets, which ec10 cap ?
smaller than the others around it, or the same size ....
anything else, apart from,....

Looks like most of the large black capacitors are bulging. You can see the brownish-red electrolytic oozing from some of them. At least two the large green capacitors are bulging.
Look at the two smaller coils. The windings are almost black. Has been very HOT!
Did you ever monitor your system temperature?

I purchased the board thinking I could put my twin 866mhz's p3's in the board, little did I know. I'm shooting for a vp6 now.
Installed the board in a new case, everything worked fine, I just don't have a use for it. I've never monitored the temperature because I have literally only had it on for less than 5 minutes (long enough to make sure it works).
If the caps show wear I'm willing to negotiate on the price. I don't want to hose anyone, and I want it to find use somewhere.
The little bp6 that could....

some-one will want it.
just be sure to say that people who know have said that it looks like it might have a problem, maybe sooner, maybe later.
except that, if it works, it might stay working for ages, or it might have enough tomorrow.
there's so many might / maybe / if with the caps,....
is kuun on hols ? he hasn't commented yet ... or is he broke again.
