Tribes: Vengeance is going to be released later this year.
Tribes publisher, Vivendi, decided it would be a good idea to give everyone a chance to try the last two games: Tribes and Tribes 2
for free!!
ign.com wrote: The June issue of Computer Gaming World will feature them on a pack-in DVD when it hits newsstands May 4. But you'll also have the option of downloading the games from our very own FilePlanet at the same time.

Who wants to meet me online for a game?

They released the two games last week. If you are having problems downloading it, let me know and I'll get them up on a BP6.Com server.

I'll second that. FilePlanet makes me wait for an hour and then is really slow, and I can't even find Tribes 2 on the site.

I seem to remember hearing that "Tribes 2" could be had on Linux. Can anybody tell me where I can download it?

It used to be published by Loki, but they stopped selling them. I don't know if you can just download an executable for a win32 version, some Linux games you have to buy.
