The celeron 566 is a coppermine-based celeron. Those will not run in SMP mode no matter how much you hack things, as the SMP circuitry has been disabled on the die at the factory.

The 566 also is in a FCPGA form factor and uses much less voltage. The BP6 can produce the right voltage levels, but still the socket pinouts are not correct. Thus you can rectify the situation by either using a neo adaptor (powerleap.com) or something else to change the pinouts from PGA to FCPGA. The final option is to resolder the socket by hand.

Provided you're using coppermine P3s, not coppermine celerons, nor tualatin P3s, nor tualatin celerons, you can run SMP with Neos. However, you will need to do a few mods. One trace on the neos themselves needs cutting, and then a pin or two on the actual bp6 sockets need to be rewired. Just find Yochiro's mods and read up; it's really simple.
