I haven't checked out the V's yet but I bought three of these to dampen speed and noise:
It has slowed the fans on my IV's down to about 1800 rpm and the noise is down to a comfortable level. I am using the third to slow the fan down on the BX chipset.

purrkur, you original linux listings of voltages, showed the VTT with the CPU voltages. ( 2.0v )
can you figure out how (linux techs ? ) to post the correct voltages so we can see the 1.50v rail ?

Are you running these fans @12V and they're still quiet? Or with reduced voltage?
actually they do fit without touching the caps...all you have to do is twist a little those ataching arms on the cooler for the S370!!!

Hey Dave, I have already done that actually with my sensors.conf file that is specific to BP6 on this post. Once you have that up and running you can check your values by running the command "sensors". It should give you something like this:
