WTD: BP6 bios chip

If anyone has got a dead bp6 would you be willing to sell me the award bios chip as mine has become corrupt

Have you tried reflashing your BIOS chip using an ISA video card to get a basic display on boot-up?

I had to do this once when a BIOS flash went bad. I booted my BP6 with just the ISA video card and a floppy drive with a boot disk containing the suitable BIOS software.

NB The Award BIOS chip has a section reserved away from the flashable part that can support the most basic of components.

I havent got an ISA gfx card around tbh.

I'll have a trawl around my mates to see if he has one and try to reflash.
