ok, i was mistaken about the cmos jumper. my manual seems to have the picture of pins 1-3 reversed so it actaully is set to the normal position.... when i boot up with this new bios i get a 'highpoint technology bios' menu that say's 'press ctrl-h to enter bios' but it never works (although the firs...

hi folks.. i pulled out an old bp6 i bought when they first came out. long story short, i went to upgrade the bios w/ the files located here, but i think i made a big boo-boo when i came time to discharging the CMOS. i didn't pull the +5v battery out. now the computer will only come on with the jump...
