3ware ATA RAID Controller
Has anyone used one of the newest 3ware cards, 7500 or 8500 series? I am planning on purchacing one and was wondering if anyone can substantiate the performance they are stating. What numbers are you guys getting using a promise or adaptec card compared to this?

I am looking for a program that will run multiple instances like SetiHide but support an infinate number of instances. I've got 8 processors on my computer and want to run 2 on each.

Solaris and seti
Are there any programs to use with solaris to view multiple instances of seti, and also what should I use to connect to the hal6000 que? I'm running SunOS Release 5.9 CDE 1.5.1 on a E450 with 2gb ram and 2x400MHz ultra-4 sparc's...any suggestions to spped things up on a setup like this would help.

I've got a couple systems up and running. I'm going in tomorrow on my day off to set up a Proliant 8000 with 8x cpu's just for seti!! So you should see a few more from me in the week to follow.

Hey guys. I just switched over to the group. Now I'd like to get set up with the hal6000 que? I am running Setihide on a win2k system. I've entered the www.hal6000.com in to the proxy. Is there anything else I need to do?

Wondering if anyone knows if the Zalman CNPS3100-PLUS will fit onto the BP6 board. I purchaced 2 Vantec 6040H and found it to be too wide to fit.
