Update ....
Ok windows 2000 pro does exactly the same thing. I've just also done some research on the GFX cards and they are both 3.3v AGP's .... I used to have an MX4000 in there and never had any problems, unfortunatly this is in my Athlon64 machine now and has to be as it's a 1.5V. Just tried 2000 with the M...

yeah I think it was resources at the end of the day, but the mx4000 was causing problems with the board even just with a clean install of xp with just the nic in it .... so I'm guessing the nvidia mx4000 I have is not going to work with the board. Good thing is I've got the board running with the sp...

Interesting one ...
Here's one for everyone that some people might find interesting. System is BP6 with dual 500's 2x256mb and 128mb ram. I dont use the onboard ide at all apart from a cdrom on the IDE1 for booting. I was using a SIL 0680 ide card for ata133 and that was all fine. I recently added in a VIA 6241 sata ca...

VIA Sata VT6421 PCI Card
Hi, Has anyone else tried this card with the BP6? It shows in the device listing and can be added under windows but will simply just not boot from or show it's BIOS options! I've even tried the RV BIOS without the HPT crap code and it still does'nt make a difference. No problems with the Silicon Ima...
